Balochistan: The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) spokesperson, Major Gwahram Baloch, said that BLF fighters carried out coordinated attacks on Pakistani military targets on March 2 and 3, 2026, in Turbat and Panjgur.
In Turbat’s Absar area, a military convoy consisting of two vehicles and motorcycles was targeted in an IED (improvised explosive device) attack as it passed through Kehda Yusuf Mohalla. According to the BLF, fighters had laid an ambush and detonated a remote-controlled bomb against the convoy, completely destroying one military vehicle. The explosion reportedly killed three soldiers and seriously injured two others.
Following the blast, the spokesperson said that the military opened indiscriminate fire in the area, harassing civilians, which the organization described as evidence of the army’s “defeated mindset.”
In a separate operation on March 3, BLF fighters attacked the Frontier Corps (FC) headquarters in Chitkan, Panjgur, specifically targeting intelligence offices reportedly used by the Pakistani forces’ secret services. Nine grenades were fired from grenade launchers, hitting their intended targets and inflicting heavy personnel and material losses on the occupying forces, the BLF claimed.
The Balochistan Liberation Front has officially accepted responsibility for both operations the IED attack on the military convoy in Absar, Turbat, and the grenade launcher attack on intelligence offices within the FC headquarters in Chitkan, Panjgur.
