QUETTA: Internet data services in Dhadar, Bolan district, which had remained suspended for the past several days, have now been restored, according to local sources.
Meanwhile, railway operations continue to face disruptions. The Jaffar Express, which operates from Quetta to Peshawar, was once again suspended on Friday, 6 February. No official reason for the renewed suspension has been provided so far.
Internet data services that had been shut down for five consecutive days in Quetta city and several other areas of Balochistan have also been restored. However, residents of Mastung district continue to face a prolonged communications blackout, as internet services there have remained suspended for the past seven months.
The intermittent shutdowns of internet and transport services have caused significant difficulties for residents, affecting communication, education, business activities, and access to information across Balochistan.
