The Hague: Dil Murad Baloch, Secretary General of the Baloch National Movement (BNM), has said that the void created in the Baloch national movement by the martyrdom of Dr. Manan Baloch, Babu Nauroz Baloch, Ashraf Baloch, Hanif Baloch, and Sajid Baloch is irreplaceable, describing their sacrifices as a defining and everlasting chapter in Baloch history.
He was speaking at a commemorative event organized by the BNM in the Netherlands to mark the anniversary of the Mastung martyrs.
Speaking at a BNM event in the Netherlands, Dil Murad Baloch highlighted the lasting legacy of these martyrs. He said Shaheed Babu Nauroz Baloch was an intellectual, visionary, and ideologue whose thoughts and struggles gave the Baloch movement both depth and direction. “Friends like Babu Nauroz are born once in centuries,” he remarked. “The absence of such leaders is a loss not only to the movement but to the entire Baloch nation. Yet, their mission and ideals continue to guide future generations.”
Highlighting the role of Dr. Manan Baloch, he said the resilience, intellectual strength, and political clarity within the Baloch national movement today are the direct result of Dr. Manan’s sacrifices and leadership. “He not only awakened political consciousness but also set a powerful example of sacrifice that continues to inspire the movement,” he stated.
Dil Murad Baloch noted that through Dr. Manan Baloch’s tireless efforts, ideological commitment, and selfless struggle, the Baloch National Movement emerged as a credible and respected political force at the international level. He said the ideological foundations laid by Dr. Manan have enabled the BNM to remain steadfast despite repression and challenges.
Describing Dr. Manan Baloch as a compassionate yet principled leader, he said his life was devoted to the political awakening of Baloch society and the intellectual and organizational training of activists. Dr. Manan believed that ordinary Baloch people must actively participate in political struggle rather than remain passive observers. For party members, he was not only a leader but a mentor who embodied discipline, perseverance, and moral courage.
Concluding his address, Dil Murad Baloch urged BNM members to carry forward the mission of Dr. Manan Baloch and his comrades with sincerity, intellectual rigor, and unwavering commitment. “Integrating their struggle, sacrifices, and ideals into our lives is the truest tribute to these martyrs and our collective responsibility,” he said.
