In Mastung, Balochistan, Pakistani forces shot and killed a rickshaw driver.
The incident occurred at the Frontier Corps (FC) checkpoint in the Dasht Umar Dor area of Mastung, where FC personnel opened fire on the rickshaw, killing the young driver.
In protest, the driver’s relatives placed his body on the main road near Nawab Hotel and blocked traffic, causing long queues of vehicles.
The rickshaw driver, Kali Dand, was a resident of Mastung.
According to latest reports, negotiations between the protesters and officials, including DSP Hamza Baloch and SHO City Nazir Langov, were successful. After receiving assurances that a case would be registered against the FC personnel who opened fire, the protesters transported the deceased’s body home and cleared the road for traffic.
