Kech: In the Reko area of Balochistan, on the night of January 13, a large contingent of Pakistani security forces raided the area and conducted a search at the home of a man named Lal Jan. During the raid, they forcibly took his minor son, Talib, took him into custody and transferred him to an unknown location.
According to the family, around 2 a.m., Pakistani forces entered the house, harassed women and children, and forcibly disappeared the young Talib Hussain.
The family stated that they initially remained silent, relying on assurances from local elders and notable personalities, hoping for his safe return. However, even after ten days, Talib Hussain has not been recovered, and no information about him has been provided.
They said that at the end of last year, Talib Hussain was working in the fields and grazing goats when an influential person, who claims affiliation with authorities, came to their fields and severely beat Talib Hussain without cause. Due to their poverty, the family did not react to the incident to avoid further harm.
The family has appealed for all possible assistance to ensure the safe recovery of Talib Hussain.
