Unknown armed assailants attacked the Levies checkpost located at Harnbu hilltop in the Nal area of Khuzdar district, Balochistan.
According to sources, the attackers stormed the post, took the Levies personnel hostage, and gained full control of the checkpost. They seized all military-grade weapons and government equipment before fleeing the scene.
No casualties have been reported so far.
In the past, similar attacks have been claimed by Baloch pro-independence groups, but no organization has claimed responsibility for this attack yet.
