
CHAGAI, BALOCHISTAN: Five Large Vehicles Seized by Armed Men on Trade Route
The latest incident involving the seizure of commercial vehicles occurred yesterday in the Charsar area of Dalbandin, Chagai district. Armed men who had taken control of the trade highway seized three vehicles travelling from Quetta to Taftan and two vehicles travelling from Taftan to Quetta.
Authorities have not yet provided any details regarding the incident. No group has so far claimed responsibility for this specific attack.
Commercial vehicles have come under repeated attack on Balochistan’s trade and national highways over the past four months. Baloch armed groups, including the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) and the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) remain active in Balochistan and have continued to target security forces, state infrastructure and commercial traffic, with vehicles frequently captured and set ablaze on highway routes.
