
KHARAN, BALOCHISTAN: The body of a man abducted several days ago in Balochistan’s Kharan district has been recovered from the Gwash area, with the deceased identified as Hafiz Kabir Echbari, according to police.
Police said the body was found at Sargardan in the Gwash area, located along the CPEC road. Preliminary information identified the victim as Hafiz Kabir Echbari.
Hafiz Kabir was abducted on the night of July 18, when armed men attacked his home. His son, Abdul Hakeem, was killed during the attack, while Hafiz Kabir and another son, Hafiz Naveed, were taken away by the assailants.
The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) claimed responsibility for the attack, stating that Hafiz Kabir was affiliated with a government-backed group. In its statement, the organization said Hafiz Kabir and Hafiz Naveed were in its custody and that a decision regarding them would be made by the “Baloch National Court” following a complete investigation.
