KHUZDAR, BALOCHISTAN: Explosions, Heavy Gunfire Reported Near Residence of State-Backed Death Squad Shafiq Mengal in Khuzdar
According to the sources, explosions and heavy gunfire have been reported near the residence of Shafiq Mengal, described by local sources as the leader of a state-backed Death Squad, in the Shahzad City area of Khuzdar.
According to local sources, more than two explosions were heard, followed by intense gunfire that continued for some time.
At least four people are reported to have been killed in the attack, while Haji Iqbal Mengal was reportedly injured.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
