ZIARAT, BALOCHISTAN: Nine police personnel were killed in an armed attack in the Kach Mangi area, according to Ziarat SP Qudus Dahwar.
According to the source, those killed include two Station House Officers (SHOs), SHO Mangi Muhammad Hussain and SHO Kawas Sohbat Khan along with seven other Police personnel.
The bodies of the slain officers have been shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital, Ziarat.
The attack targeted police personnel, with an exchange of gunfire between armed assailants and police continuing since the previous night.
