BRG Claims 73 Operations Across Balochistan and Sindh in First Half of 2026, 39 Pakistani Forces Personnel Killed and Wounded

QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN; The Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) has released a detailed statment its operations carried out between January and June 2026, claiming responsibility for 73 operations across multiple districts of Balochistan and Sindh, in which it says 39 Pakistani security forces personnel were killed and wounded.

According to the BRG statement, the operations were carried out across the following areas:

Nasirabad: 18 attacks

Kachhi: 18 attacks

Sibi: 25 attacks

Dera Bugti: 4 attacks

Quetta: 1 attack

Sahbatpur: 2 attacks

Sindh: 5 attacks

The BRG claimed that 24 of the 73 operations were directly targeted at Pakistani security forces, police, and state-backed operatives, resulting in 39 personnel killed and several others wounded.

According to the statement, trains were targeted on three separate occasions while Pakistani forces personnel were traveling aboard them. Additionally, railway tracks were destroyed on seven occasions, causing significant disruption to rail infrastructure across the affected areas.

The BRG claimed that on three occasions, fighters seized police stations, took personnel hostage, and confiscated official vehicles, weapons, and other military equipment. The statement added that arrested police personnel who were identified as Baloch were subsequently released.

According to the statement, BRG fighters established highway blockades on 11 occasions, conducting searches of vehicles. Five trailer trucks were also set on fire and destroyed during these operations.

The BRG claimed that in 15 separate attacks, four communication towers and 20 electricity transmission towers were destroyed. Additionally, seven gas pipelines were blown up and two bridges were also destroyed during the reported operational period.
