
Quetta, BALOCHISTAN; The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has paid deep tribute to its fighters who embraced martyrdom on various fronts across Balochistan in recent months, reaffirming its commitment to continue the armed struggle for the liberation of the Baloch homeland.
BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, in an official statement, saluted the martyrs and said their sacrifices are clear proof that the Baloch nation will never bow before what he called the illegal occupiers and their oppression. He added that the freedom struggle is not merely armed resistance but a national awakening built upon deep political consciousness and ideological maturity, which can never be suppressed through state barbarism.
Captain Hashum, son of Nasir, a resident of Mainaz Buleda, embraced martyrdom on June 21, 2026, on Garuk Road between Buleda and Turbat after Pakistani forces launched a drone strike on his unit while they were on an organizational patrol. He had joined the BLF in 2022 and served on difficult fronts, including Buleda, Paroom, Zamuran, Dasht, Kulbar, and Seyaji. Due to his exceptional military and organizational capabilities, he had been promoted to the rank of Captain. He was described by the organization as an extremely hard-working, resilient, kind, and fearless fighter who personally developed several important defensive and military resources for the organization.
Abdul Rahim, son of Muhammad Umar, a resident of Mainaz Buleida, also embraced martyrdom on June 21, 2026, on Garuk Road between Buleida and Turbat in the same drone strike alongside his Commander Captain Hashum. He had joined the BLF in September 2024 and before transferring to the mountain front, he served for six months in urban and regional networks, playing a key role in ideological and political activities. He gained extensive experience in guerrilla warfare on difficult fronts such as Buleida, Zamuran, Paroom, and Balgatar. The organization described him as an ideologically and intellectually mature fighter who enriched the movement on both ideological and military fronts.
Shoaib Zehri, son of Muhammad Ibrahim, a resident of Talawan Zehri, embraced martyrdom on May 17, 2026, during an operation in the Lakhoriyan area of Khuzdar. According to the BLF, its fighters had surrounded police personnel and ordered them to surrender, but the police opened fire instead, leading to an exchange of fire during which Zehri was martyred while fighting valiantly. He had joined the BLF in 2024 and participated in guerrilla operations on the difficult fronts of Khuzdar and Zehri. He was described as an extremely sincere, loyal, and fearless fighter who always played his role in the vanguard during military campaigns.
Kifayatullah Badini, son of Habibullah Badini, a resident of Saryab Road, Quetta, embraced martyrdom on May 14, 2026, in the Abbad area of Nushki after Pakistani forces carried out a drone strike on his unit while they were on an organizational patrol. He had joined the BLF in April 2024 and carried out guerrilla operations on the fronts around Nushki and Quetta. He was described as an extremely resilient and sincere fighter with deep knowledge of military principles, who earned a respected position within the organizational ranks through his tireless effort and high political consciousness.
Zakria Zehri, son of Muheem Khan, a resident of Zehri Bulbul, embraced martyrdom on April 14, 2026, during a clash with Pakistani army personnel at a checkpoint in the Nagao area of Kalat. According to the BLF, his unit encountered an army checkpoint while on patrol, and upon being spotted, the army immediately opened fire. The fighters took positions and counter-attacked, during which Zehri was martyred while courageously confronting the enemy. He had joined the BLF in 2025 and in a short period fulfilled several important organizational responsibilities on various fronts in Kalat and Nagao.
The BLF, in paying its profound tribute to all five martyrs, reaffirmed its resolve that the war against what it calls the occupying state shall continue with full intensity on every front until the complete liberation of Balochistan. Major Gwahram Baloch concluded by saying that the mission of the martyrs is the organization’s guiding light, and reaching the national destination by following in their footsteps is its national and organizational pledge.
