Balochistan: A series of attacks targeting Pakistani security forces continue across various parts of Balochistan. In the latest incidents, armed men carried out assaults on forces in Kalat and Dera Murad Jamali, reportedly causing casualties and material losses.
According to sources, in Morgand, near Sheikhri area of Kalat, two military vehicles transporting rations to a nearby post came under attack by armed assailants who had laid an ambush. The attackers reportedly inflicted heavy casualties and seized weapons from the personnel before leaving the area.
Sources added that a similar attack occurred a day earlier in the same Morgand area, targeting a security post and vehicles carrying rations, resulting in losses. In another incident, armed men attacked on-foot personnel of the forces in Makki area of Kalat, who were also on a ration supply mission.
So far, Pakistani authorities have not confirmed or released details regarding these attacks.
Separately, in Dera Murad Jamali, unidentified assailants threw a hand grenade outside the Highway Police Office gate and fled the scene. No casualties were reported in the incident.
As of now, no group has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
