Balochistan; The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for a series of attacks across multiple regions in Balochistan, including Gwadar, Mastung, Zamuran, and Kolwah Awaran.
In a statement released to the media, Major Gwahram Baloch, the spokesperson for BLF, stated:
“On March 15, at 7:15 PM, BLF fighters carried out a grenade attack on the main security checkpoint of the Coast Guard’s camp in Gwadar, injuring two personnel. The attack was executed when two Coast Guard personnel were standing near the checkpoint. Our fighters successfully retreated using guerrilla tactics after the attack.”
He continued, “Later at 8:30 PM, our unit launched an assault on a checkpoint on Gwadar Airport Road, resulting in one security personnel being killed and another wounded.”
Further detailing the attacks, Major Gwahram Baloch added, “At 6:45 PM on the same day, our fighters targeted and took control of a police checkpoint in Mastung’s Kili Zhili area, seizing two rifles from the police personnel stationed there.”
“Earlier at 3:00 PM, our fighters launched an attack from two directions in Zamuran’s Kotan area, causing significant casualties and material damage to the enemy,” he stated.
In a separate development, on March 14, BLF fighters successfully downed one of the enemy’s surveillance drones after Pakistani forces raided houses in Kolwah’s Sigkag and Shapkol areas.
The BLF spokesperson concluded by urging the Baloch youth to unite in resistance against the enemy’s oppression and to continue the struggle for Baloch independence.
