
BOLAN: Armed men stormed two police stations in Bagh city, Bolan district, in the early morning, triggering an exchange of fire with police and security forces that lasted nearly two hours, according to local sources.
The attackers reportedly targeted the City Police Station and the Sadar Police Station simultaneously, sparking panic among residents as the gun battle unfolded.
Reports indicate that a large number of armed individuals have entered Bagh city and taken control of various areas of the city. They are also reported to have control over police stations and banks, while clashes and firing continue at various locations across the city.
Sources said the assailants also set fire to sections of a National Bank branch during the assault, along with several motorcycles parked at the office of the Assistant Commissioner Bagh and at Sub Jail Bagh.
No casualties have been reported so far, according to initial accounts. No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack. Authorities have not issued an official statement, and further details of the incident are awaited.
