
QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN; Reports have emerged from Balochistan’s Mustung, Sorab and Kharan of military operations, quadcopter strikes and enforced disappearances.
According to sources, in the Dasht Kambila area of Mustung, Pakistani forces targeted a residential house using a quadcopter, leaving a woman critically injured.
Meanwhile, Pakistani forces reportedly carried out a large-scale search operation in the Naghar area of Sorab. Local sources said the operation involved door-to-door searches in various localities, while surveillance was also tightened on multiple entry and exit routes o f the area
During the same operation, two individuals, including Khalil Ahmed, son of Noor Muhammad, were reportedly taken into custody from Sorab and moved to an undisclosed location. Family members said no information about the two men has been provided since their arrest.
Separately, Pakistani forces conducted an operation in the Tazina area of Kharan this morning. According to sources, mortar shells were fired during the operation and quadcopters were also deployed.
Local sources claim that three goats were killed in a quadcopter strike, though no human casualties have been reported.
Sources also said that armed men shot down a quadcopter in the same area during the operation, though no official source has confirmed or denied this claim.
