QUETTA: The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for a coordinated series of 10 operations carried out across multiple districts in Balochistan, including Kharan, Washuk, Awaran, Kech, and Mastung.
According to BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, the attacks resulted in the deaths of 10 state security personnel and 4 agents, with several others wounded. Additionally, weapons were seized, and surveillance equipment was destroyed during these operations.

On May 3, BLF fighters targeted a Frontier Corps (FC) checkpost on Gazi Road in Kharan city using rockets and grenade launchers, causing casualties and material damage. Reports indicate that following the attack, security forces indiscriminately fired upon nearby civilians and deployed quadcopters in pursuit, but the BLF fighters successfully evaded capture using urban guerrilla tactics.
Earlier, on May 2, an intelligence-based operation in the Washuk district led to the killing of two armed agents accused of extortion and collaborating with the Pakistani military. The BLF fighters seized weapons and a motorcycle during the operation. This marked the second such action in the area within a short span, following a March 17 operation where three operatives were killed and one captured.
Other significant attacks include a coordinated assault on a Pakistani military camp in Teertaj, Awaran, on April 29, involving sniper fire and heavy weapons that caused casualties and damaged military installations. A military convoy and personnel guarding a road construction company were ambushed in Teertaj Koturi, resulting in further casualties.
Additional operations involved attacks on military checkposts in Kolwah, Mastung, and Kech districts between late April and early May. These included sniper strikes, heavy weapons fire, destruction of surveillance cameras, and strategic blockades, inflicting casualties and disrupting enemy movements.
In separate actions earlier this year, the BLF apprehended and executed two individuals accused of spying and collaborating with state forces in Konshqalat, Tump. Both confessions and evidence were cited as grounds for their execution under the organization’s laws.
The BLF states that these operations collectively demonstrate their continued resistance against state forces in Balochistan.
