MULTAN: Students organized a walk demanding the recovery of fellow students Shoaib Baloch and Rameez Baloch.
Students of Bahauddin Zakariya University held a peaceful walk to demand the safe and immediate recovery of Baloch students Rameez Baloch and Shoaib Baloch, who have been subjected to enforced disappearance.
According to the students, the purpose of the walk was to express serious concern over the incident of enforced disappearance of their fellow students and to raise public awareness.
Various student organizations, including the Baloch Students Council and the Pashtun Students Council, participated in the protest and condemned the ongoing state repression against Baloch students.
Participants were holding placards and banners demanding the release of the enforcedly disappeared students and termed the incident a serious threat to students.
On the occasion, speakers said that this peaceful and democratic initiative reflects a commitment to justice, human rights and the protection of students in society.
They urged the relevant authorities to immediately recover Rameez Baloch and Shoaib Baloch and to take effective measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
