The Baloch Raaji Aajoi Sangar (BRAS), an alliance of Baloch insurgent groups, has released an annual infographic report claiming it carried out 174 attacks across Balochistan in 2025.
In its statement, BRAS said the attacks resulted in the deaths of 167 Pakistani military and intelligence personnel, while 95 others were injured. The group further claimed that 26 individuals, including members of intelligence agencies, were captured during different operations.
According to the infographic, the group conducted 35 bomb explosions, 14 raids, and 35 cordon-and-search operations, and targeted 15 infrastructure installations. It also claimed that 30 government and security vehicles were destroyed and 51 weapons were seized.
The group termed August 2025 a “significant month,” saying that its fighters “took control” of Zehri town in Khuzdar for more than a month and engaged Pakistani security forces there. It said vehicles, weapons and other military equipment were seized during that period.
Separately, groups affiliated with the BRAS alliance also issued their own annual claims.
The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) said it carried out 521 attacks in 2025, claiming more than 1,060 personnel were killed and over 556 injured. It also acknowledged the killing of 72 of its fighters during the year.
The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) claimed 581 attacks, saying 647 personnel were killed and 282 injured, while the Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) reported 88 attacks across Balochistan, Sindh and Punjab, saying 22 personnel were killed and 35 wounded.
The claims made by these groups could not be independently verified, and Pakistani authorities have not yet commented on the reports.
