Quetta: Minor Student Forcibly Disappeared by Pakistani Forces

QUETTA: A minor student has been detained and forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces in Quetta’s Killi Qambarani area, raising serious concern among local residents and human rights circles.

According to details, 13-year-old student Gohram Baloch, son of Faiz Muhammad, was taken from his home by Pakistani forces at around 1:00 a.m. on January 4, 2026. Family members said Gohram Baloch is a school student and has no case or allegations registered against him.

Relatives said there has been no information about his whereabouts since the incident, and no confirmation has been provided by the relevant authorities regarding his arrest or detention. The family has expressed deep distress and demanded the immediate recovery of the minor child.

The incident has further heightened concerns over enforced disappearances in the region, particularly involving minors.
