Balochistan: Baloch pro-independence leader and head of the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), Dr. Allah Nazar Baloch, has stated that the Baloch struggle is rooted in human values but rejects subjugation and slavery.
In his latest statement, Dr. Allah Nazar said, “We believe in humanity, but not at the cost of slavery and subjugation.” He shared these remarks through a post on the social media platform Truth, marking his first public statement on the platform.

Baloch leaders frequently express their views on political and human rights issues through social media. However, due to increasing restrictions and censorship on platforms such as X (formerly Twitter) and others, Dr. Allah Nazar has chosen Truth to communicate his position. In the past, several of his accounts on X were reportedly suspended at the behest of Pakistani military authorities.
Observers note that a near-complete media blackout in Balochistan has long limited the global reach of political voices, democratic forces and human rights activists. Critics argue that this information blockade has enabled the Pakistani state despite its claims of democracy to suppress alternative narratives and misrepresent the positions of Baloch political actors.
It is being reported that Dr. Allah Nazar Baloch may continue to share his views through the Truth platform in the future, citing concerns over freedom of expression and access to international audiences.
The statement comes amid ongoing censorship, restrictions on dissent, and curbs on independent reporting in Balochistan, which human rights groups say have severely constrained the flow of information from the region.
