QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal, head of the Balochistan National Party (BNP), has said that the eviction of residents from Noshki, Mastung and Khad Kocha and the cutting down of orchards cultivated over decades, is a clear example of the occupation of Baloch areas.
In a statement issued on the social media website X, Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal said that it has been the state’s practice that when unable to confront the powerful, it expresses its failure and anger in this manner, attempting to create an atmosphere of fear.
He said, however, that the results of such actions are proving to be the opposite, with hatred against the state increasing day by day. According to him, this hatred will continue to be passed down from generation to generation.
Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal, expressing concern over the problems faced by the local population and the eviction in Noshki, Mastung and Khad Kocha, said that the rights of the Baloch people and the protection of their lands and orchards must be ensured.
