QUETTA: Two men were shot dead by unidentified gunmen close to Sheikh Zaid Hospital, officials said.
The attackers opened fire and fled the scene before help could arrive, leaving both victims dead on the spot. Authorities have not yet confirmed the identities of the deceased and investigators are working to determine who they were and what may have motivated the attack.
Police officials reached the location shortly after the shooting was reported and cordoned off the area to begin a formal investigation. No arrests have been made so far, and no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
