KHARAN, BALOCHISTAN: Armed men abducted personnel of a company constructing a post for Pakistani forces in the Albat area of Kharan district, Balochistan, at around 2 p.m. today.
According to local sources, the incident occurred while the construction company’s staff were working on the post for Pakistani forces in the area. Sources said the armed men arrived at the site, took the company’s personnel into custody and moved them to an unknown location.
However, no further details have immediately emerged regarding the number of abducted personnel or their current condition.
No individual or group has so far claimed responsibility for the incident, nor has any official statement been issued regarding the reasons behind the abduction. Government authorities have also not yet confirmed or denied the incident.
