Awaran: A convoy of Pakistani security forces came under attack by a large group of armed individuals in the Jhao Berait area of Awaran district on Sunday at around 1:00 PM.
According to local sources. several security personnel were killed and injured in the attack. However, no official confirmation regarding casualties has been issued so far.
Following the attack, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. Local residents claimed that people were harassed during the operation, while the attackers managed to escape from the scene.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack. It is worth noting that similar incidents have occurred in various parts of Balochistan in the past, with responsibility often claimed by Baloch armed groups.
