Armed Men Set Up Checkpoint, Search Vehicles in Bolan, Mobile Tower Destroyed in Harnai

Balochistan: Armed men reportedly established a checkpoint and conducted vehicle searches in Bolan district, while a mobile tower was set on fire and destroyed in Harnai.

According to sources, on Tuesday evening, armed individuals set up a roadblock on Margat Road between Quetta and Zarghoon Gas Field. They stopped and searched passing vehicles, and there are unconfirmed reports that one individual was detained. However, their identity has not yet been verified.

Meanwhile, in the Zardalu area of Harnai district, unidentified armed men attacked a mobile tower reportedly used by the Pakistani military for surveillance. The attackers torched the tower’s machinery and damaged surveillance cameras installed on it.

No group has so far claimed responsibility for either of the incidents.
