Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) leader Dr. Allah Nazar Baloch has said that the narrative propagated by ISIS-Khorasan (ISIS-K) is, in fact, a script crafted by Pakistan’s military media wing, ISPR, to manipulate public opinion against national liberation movements under the guise of religion.
He made these remarks in the BLF’s recently published magazine Isper.
Dr. Allah Nazar asserted that the Baloch national liberation struggle is deeply rooted in the support of the Baloch people themselves and is not dependent on any foreign powers. He emphasized that the movement represents genuine national sovereignty and identity. In contrast, he said, the occupying Pakistani state is employing every method to destroy the Baloch nation and erase its identity in order to turn Balochistan into a permanent colonial outpost.
According to Dr. Nazar, the Pakistani state has historically used proxy elements to defame independence movements and erode public trust in genuine resistance. He said ISIS-K’s current narrative is a continuation of this policy, an ISPR-designed propaganda tool aimed at weaponizing religion to delegitimize nationalist struggles.
He further added that in Balochistan, the control of security policies rests not with the civilian government but directly with the military, which sustains political instability by maintaining ties with terrorist groups.
