Turbat: 18 Forcibly Disappeared Individuals Released; One Person Critically Injured in Shooting

Turbat, Kech: All 18 individuals who were reportedly forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces in Turbat last night have been released and returned home safely, according to family sources and local residents.

Early this morning, Pakistani forces conducted a raid in the Malikabad area of Turbat, detaining 18 individuals from a house and nearby residences. The detainees were transferred to an undisclosed location. By 4:00 PM, 15 of them had been released on personal surety.

The remaining three individuals Haml Imam Bakhsh, Hamid Mehmood, and a resident of Panjgur were later released and have also safely returned to their homes.

In a separate incident the same day, a man was critically injured in a shooting in the Singani Sar area of Turbat. According to reports, unidentified armed men opened fire on Talib Hussain, son of Altaf Hussain, a resident of Buleda who was currently living in Singani Sar.

Local residents rushed the seriously injured man to a nearby hospital, where he is currently receiving medical treatment. The motive behind the shooting remains unknown at this time.
