Four Levies personnel were killed in an armed attack on the Samand Levies checkpost in the Nal subdivision of Khuzdar district, Balochistan.
According to sources, the attack occurred under the cover of darkness when unidentified gunmen opened heavy fire on the checkpost. All four personnel stationed at the post were killed on the spot. The assailants managed to flee the scene after the assault.
The deceased personnel have been identified as Maqbool, Khuda Bakhsh, Ijaz Ahmed, and Muhammad Ali.
The motive behind the attack and the identity of the attackers remain unknown at this time.
