
Balochistan – May 13, 2025: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for seven coordinated attacks across various districts of Balochistan, including Ornach, Panjgur, Kalat, Nushki, Sibi, and Kachhi, as part of the second phase of its ongoing “Operation HEROF”.
In a statement released by BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch, the spokesperson said the latest attacks were conducted as part of a series of tactical exercises, during which 78 actions were carried out across 58 locations.
Highway Blockade and Checkpoint Seizure in Ornach
According to the statement, BLA fighters established control over the Ornach Cross highway in Khuzdar on Saturday night for over two hours. During the blockade, snap-checking operations were conducted and two vehicles allegedly involved in the exploitation of Baloch resources were attacked. In a related action, BLA fighters reportedly seized a Levies checkpoint, later setting it ablaze.
Assault on Military Post in Panjgur
On Sunday night, BLA fighters launched a direct assault on a Pakistani military post at Nokabad in Panjgur. The spokespersonstated that automatic weapons, rocket launchers, and grenade launchers were used in the 25-minute firefight, resulting in the deaths of at least two soldiers and injuries to five others.
In another action in Parom, Panjgur, BLA fighters reportedly seized surveillance cameras installed by the Pakistani military.
IED Attack on Bomb Disposal Unit in Kalat. In Kalat’s Grap area, a remote-controlled IED blast targeted members of the military’s bomb disposal squad during a clearance operation. The BLA claims two personnel were killed in the explosion.
Killing of Alleged Intelligence Operatives in Nushki. In a significant development, BLA fighters claimed responsibility for the killing of four alleged Pakistani intelligence operatives in Galingoor, Nushki. The victims were identified as:
- Muin, son of Ghulam Mustafa (resident of Pakpattan),
- Huzaifa, son of Muhammad Latif (Pakpattan),
- Imran Ali, son of Maqsood Ahmed, and
- Irfan Ali, son of Maqsood Ahmed (both from Rahim Yar Khan).
According to the BLA, the individuals were apprehended during a checkpoint operation in Ahmedwal, Nushki, on May 9, and allegedly confessed during interrogation that they were working as undercover informants for Pakistani military and intelligence services.
Grenade Attack in Sibi
The BLA also reported a grenade attack on a Pakistani military checkpoint located at Sibi Railway Station.
