
A wave of violence across various districts of Balochistan has left at least four people dead and several others injured due to shootings and a tragic fire incident.
In Khuzdar’s Lizo Band area, unidentified gunmen opened fire, killing a man identified as Inayatullah s/o Rahim, a resident of Gadur. Police have taken custody of the body and shifted it to the hospital for legal formalities. The motive behind the incident remains unknown.
Meanwhile, in Dera Allah Yar’s Qaidy Shakh near Mir Hassan Dip, a land dispute between the Rind and Jhakkarani tribes led to a shooting that injured two individuals: Faiq Ali Rind and Ghulam Muhammad Rind. The injured were moved to a nearby hospital for treatment.
In another incident in the Mohib Ali Laro area of Dera Allah Yar, unidentified assailants shot and killed a man named Ghaus Bakhsh Abro while he was riding a rickshaw. Police suspect the motive may be related to a family dispute.
In the aftermath of the Noshki tragedy, another injured victim has succumbed to his wounds, bringing the death toll to four. The deceased was identified as Abdul Razzaq s/o Abdul Majeed, a firefighter who could not survive the injuries sustained during the incident.
Around 70 people were reportedly injured in the fire and are currently receiving treatment in hospitals in Quetta and Karachi. The entire city of Noshki remains in mourning following the deadly event.
