BLF Claims Responsibility for Killing of Death Squad Members Sakhi Ahmad and Sakhi Dad in Awaran.

The Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for the killing of Sakhi Ahmad and Sakhi Dad, members of a state-backed death squad, in the Kolwah region of Balochistan.

According to the BLF, the two individuals Sakhi Ahmad, son of Khudadad, resident of Hoor, Gishkor, and Sakhi Dad, son of Abdullah, resident of Gradi, Gishkor, were taken into custody in February 2025 for their involvement in anti-Baloch activities. During a detailed investigation, it was revealed that both were directly involved in the November 19, 2024, martyrdom of BLF members Captain Niaz Qadir alias Guman Jan and Lieutenant Zarif Baloch alias Shay Jan in the Dodar area of Gishkor.

The BLF noted that Sakhi Ahmad had previously been arrested on October 7, 2024, for anti-resistance activities and social misconduct. He was released upon guarantees from his family that he would no longer engage in such activities. Despite this, he was once again found involved in operations against the organization and had become an active member of the death squad led by Jeand Sajdi. He even led the unit responsible for the killings of key BLF members.

Sakhi Dad, son of Abdullah, was a regular member of the BLF in 2020 but was later demoralized by Sakhi Ahmad and made to surrender through Akram Awarani. Recently, he was officially inducted into the death squad and assigned the task of informing on the movements of BLF fighters. He confessed to closing routes used by fighters and engaging in other anti-social acts, including espionage that led to the martyrdom of BLF members.

Based on evidence of their involvement in serious crimes and their own confessions, the BLF’s judicial wing sentenced both individuals. The sentence was carried out on the night of April 10 in the Rodkan area of Kolwah.

It is worth noting that another death squad member, Abdul Rasool, son of Karim Bakhsh Sajdi, was also confronted by BLF fighters on March 11, 2025, in Hoor, Kolwah. He resisted, prompting the fighters to retaliate, resulting in his death.

The Baloch Liberation Front takes full responsibility for the elimination of state-backed death squad members in Kolwah and affirms that strict action will continue against all elements opposing the Baloch national movement.
