The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for two separate attacks on vehicles transporting machinery and minerals in Kharan and Wadh.
According to a statement released to the media, BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch said that on April 10, around 3 PM, BLF fighters launched an attack on trailers carrying machinery linked to the Reko Diq project at Karachi Stop in Kharan city. The attackers used hand grenades and automatic weapons, causing significant damage to the vehicles.
“We deeply regret that two local individuals were injured in this incident,” he said.
The spokesperson further urged the local Baloch population to avoid any association or proximity with enemy forces and vehicles connected to exploitative projects for their own safety during future operations.
Earlier the same day, BLF fighters also targeted two vehicles transporting minerals in the Darakallah area of Wadh. The tires of the vehicles were burst, causing partial damage. However, the drivers were released unharmed, which the group described as a gesture based on humanitarian values and Baloch national principles.
Major Gwahram Baloch reaffirmed the group’s stance, stating that the BLF accepts responsibility for both attacks and emphasized that actions against the exploitation of Baloch land and resources will persist until the complete liberation of Balochistan.
