In Jhao, a region in Awaran district, Balochistan, a protest rally was held on Eid day demanding the release of BYC leader Dr. Mahrang Baloch and others. However, a day after the protest, three participants disappeared after being detained by security forces.
Among them, two individuals have been identified as Mohammad Karim, son of Mohammad Sharif, a resident of Jhao Doliji, and Shabbir, son of Ismail, a resident of Kech. Both were taken into custody by security forces yesterday and have not been seen since.
According to sources, another protest was held in Jhao today against the excesses committed by Pakistani security forces.
